Vacation Bible School

During the third full week in July, Morningside Lutheran offers Vacation Bible School (VBS) which meets Monday through Thursday from 9:00 to 11:40 am. On Thursday, the children stay until 12:15 pm to practice for the special VBS program held that Thursday night at 7:00 pm.

Vacation Bible School is for children who will be 4 years old by Sept. 1st, 5 year olds, and children entering Kindergarten in the fall.

Vacation Bible School will be held July 21, 2008, through July 24, 2008, at Morningside Lutheran.  The theme for 2008 is "Power Lab! The Miraculous Power of Jesus!"

Day Camp

During the third full week in July, Morningside Lutheran offers Day Camp which runs Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. A closing program is held on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm.

Day Camp is for students entering grades 1 through 6 in the fall and is led by Okoboji Lutheran Camp Counselors.  Day camp will be held July 21, 2008, through July 24, 2008, at Morningside Lutheran.  The theme for 2008 is "By Faith."
