 Multicultural Ministries
Morningside Lutheran Church's Multicultural
Ministry began in 1997 and largely consists of Thai,
Laotian, and Cambodian members. The Multicultural
service meets in the gym on Sunday mornings at
11:00 am, led by Pastor Tom LoVan. An annual Asian Dinner
is held in late October which
supports many members of this congregation with daily needs
and medical
bills, and victims of spousal abuse.
Several areas in the Multicultural Ministry are
in need of help, including:
- Driving the church van to bring members who need
a way to church
- Assistance in filling out citizenship papers
- Anyone able to help
with English as a Second Language.
